Living Lavish with Lavender

Being just as popular as it was 2000 years ago lavender essential oil is is still considered the power house of essential oils with a wide range of healing properties, natural antibacterial, and serves as a pain reliever due to its analgesic properties. Lavender has and will be the mother of all oils.




Benefits:

  • prevents itchy scalp & dandruff
  • kills & prevents lice

  • helps prevent bacteria & fungi from growing
  • reduces migraines
  • relieves joint pain & arthritis
  • reduces skin inflammation
  • insect repellant
  • disinfects wounds
  • reduces acne
  • increase relaxation
  • reduces sunburn discomfort
  • alleviates stress
  • improves blood circulation
  • reduces menstrual cramps


How to use:

  • massage oil into your scalp
  • apply topically
  • add to your hair or skincare products 5 drops per ounce
  • Aromatherapy
    • add a few drops in a diffuser
    •  drop one or two drops on your hand rub them together and breath deep 
    • inhale right out of the bottle
    • (to immediately relax and calm the mind)
    • large hot bowl of water add two to three drops of lavender and eucalyptus oil ( great for cold & congestion)
  • Hot compress treatment
    • fill bowl with hot water add few drops of oil soak towel, wring out the water and use as a hot compress on the affected area
  • Soothing warm bath
    • add one cup of epsom salt and a few drops of lavender oil in bath water
  • Mosquito repellent candle
    • add six to seven drops of oil to candles and place outdoors
    • fill eight ounce spray bottle up with water and add four drops of lavender oil
